S.H.I.N.E. ~ Share His Incredible News Everywhere
... so that's what we did by holding a Shine USA Christmas H.O.P.E. Coloring Contest in 2013.
We celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ as a reminder of
God's love sent to Earth through the Savior.
As believers, we are to share this message of H.O.P.E. (Heaven's Own Promised Emmanuel) to everyone. The USA theme was S.H.I.N.E. (Shine His Incredible News Everywhere), based on the scripture Matthew 5:16.

that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father who is in
Heaven." Matthew 5:16 ESV
Do your kids like to color? Can they express what
Christmas really means? We thought so, and that’s why we believed the Christmas H.O.P.E.
Coloring Contest would enable us to reach a multitude of people with the gospel of message. It worked!
Then Jesus said again unto them …
"I
am the light of the world: he that follows Me shall not walk in darkness, but
shall have the light of life. (John 8:12)

Highlights of A Christmas H.O.P.E. USA Contest
To help our children learn that through the birth of Jesus, S.H.I.N.E., we gave out gift packs that tell of what God did because He loves us. In each gift pack there is a coloring page contest. Each child was given instruction on the rules and personal information they needed to include with their entry.
Other "Shining the Light" Prizes that were given.
The fun glow-in-the-dark keychain: 1-1/2" tall cross-shaped zipper pull is fun for adults also. It can be hung on clothes, book bags, lunch boxes, Bible covers, phone covers, etc. Psalm 119:105 (KJV) is on the front.
Glow-in-the-Dark Zipper Pull had this verse on it:
"Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path." (Psalm 119:105)
The USA Christmas H.O.P.E. contest closed December 20th. Prizes and winners for USA entries were determined by the Pastors Jim and Cher.
Christmas H.O.P.E. U.S.A. Coloring/Essay Contest Rules
Children were given a coloring page of a scripture Christmas Tree. This coloring page and an essay was to be used for the Christmas H.O.P.E. contest. For each child who participated, there were two parts to the contest.
Judging the contest to determine the winners was selected by SOFFY Ministries. Prizes were listed online. All participants coloring page and essay were postmarked by December 20th or earlier. One entry per child. Coloring pages were not returned and became property of SOFFY. (See all the details and the rest the prizes here.)
